When it comes to music is big always best?
We think not, quality is quality whatever the name or brand so our ethos is simple as A&Rs and artists …listen to as much as we can when searching for new music to sign or support.
If you want to just support the popular top 10 labels then that’s your bag, each to their own but we think there’s more than enough doing that and this was one of the reasons to start our own label, to find and help develop new or overlooked talent.
Example…
A small or relatively unknown artist on a smaller label makes a track and it doesn’t get the top promo, reach, support or chart positions so it’s put in the flop category. That’s a unique piece of art and even though disposable these days it’s a part of someone’s creative mind and soul.
Put that exact same track on a big label and he/she is a really up and coming interesting prospect who can then build a legit career and called a real artist!
It’s small margins…
As avid listeners of trance for a combined half a century (shit we are old) we think we have an ok ear and have been finding some amazing talent on the smaller labels or even unsigned. Grass roots producers we are here for you as well as our more known/established talent that we are currently building our stable and sound with.
