MAARTEN DE JONG is our first special guest coming live and direct from his studio in The Netherlands. This tech trance royalty is hitting the form of his career as he steps things up on Armada Music with Armin Van Buuren pushing and supporting everything he touches. Maarten is the true heir to the Dutch tech trance throne, following in the footsteps of fellow countrymen such as Marco V and Sander Van Doorn as an important artist to keep those deeper grooves and classic tech trance sounds alive.
TASSO coming out of south east England is our next special guest, bringing a no nonsense harder set this time around. Already a name around the up and coming scene with the majority of his releases on FSOE Clandestine, Stoneface & Terminal and Aly & Fila are backing his techno meets classic tech trance hybrid sound. You can expect everything from tough techno to tech trance, classic hard house to hard trance in his meaty set.
LAURA MAY will be kicking things off with her MAY-i techno alias and upping the tempo for her Laura May tech trance productions with UK hard trance influences. Laura’s music can be found on labels such as Outburst, Radiation and of course HQ. This multi talented artist spinning an exclusive producer set is not to be missed. With solid backing by Mark Sherry on his Outburst and Techburst labels, Laura is certainly one to keep an eye and ear on.
PHIL REYNOLDS, an undisputed legend of the UK hard trance scene joins us for set of uplifting energetic fire. Mr FRANTIC has taken a step into the more mainstream trance world of late, while still providing that blistering UK hard trance energy that we all love him for on HQ, Impact and beyond. Phil is finding his sound with the modern scene and merging it with those classic high energy UK sounds and the result is as magical as ever.
JEPHREY is the Peruvian bad boy of the LA club scene who’s been making a name for himself in the up and coming club nights around the West Coast. Having already released on HQ with Sneijder supporting his music, he is certainly one to watch Stateside. 100% Ganesh approved and ready to destroy with his darker side of uplifting, psy trance and harder trance.
DARREN HALL is one of the newest names making waves around the Emerald Isle, is he next in line? Who knows, but with his music already being supported by names such SCOT PROJECT, PAUL VAN DYK, DAVID RUST, SEAN TYAS, STONEFACE & TERMINAL, ASHLEY SMYTH, UCAST, GANESH, RENEGADE SYSTEM, RICHARD TANSELLI, TEMPO GIUSTO etc the Dubliner is on the cusp of big things. Future hard trance, tough tech trance with a hard dance edge is his ammo! FSOE Clandestine, HQ and Redrive are already big fans and it wont be long until he steps up again and makes himself known even more on the global trance scene.
BLACK XS is part of the new breed of Argentine tech trance producers who are on the rise, alongside guys like BLASHEAR and R.E.L.O.A.D, Martin Titos aka Black XS is one of the emergent DJ/Producers with a future in Argentina. His style can be defined as Tech Trance and Uplifting Trance. As a DJ he played at some important clubs in the trance capital Buenos Aires. He has had several supports from Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Mark Sherry, Indecent Noise, Darren Porter, David Forbes, Simon Patterson, John Askew, Scot Project and more. His productions are supported by labels such as Reloaded, Rielism, Suanda Dark, Discover Dark, Aria Digital, Extrema Global Records, ReDrive Records and of course HQ!
GANESH is the HQ label boss and one of the real pioneers of the LA hard house and hard trance scene. With his tastes lying in UK style music since the late 90s, Ganesh has been flying the flag for his ‘harder trance’ sound in gigs around the country and has taken US talent under his wing for HQ. He can also boast being the official Dreamstate Resident which is the biggest dedicated trance brand/event in the US. Expect high tempos, UK hard trance and hard house influences with plenty of groove from this stalwart of the US scene.
MELVIN SHEPPARD (ON THE SESH co-owner) will be taking us home with a balls to the wall UK HARD TRANCE set pushing those BPMs to the limit. Fresh from winning the VII Simon Patterson – Spike remix competition with his partner and ON THE SESH co owner Liz Wigley, Melvin will be coming to take your head off and the OTS resident will punish eardrums with those fast and furious beats from his arsenal.
